# Don Streamo

Don Streamo is a NAS and Cloud media player, primarily for Apple's ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV). You add one or more sources, Don scans them for media files, enriches them with up-to-date information from the internet, and presents everything in a clean, cinema-grade library. Playback runs locally on the device or directly on the TV.

## Overview
- Add sources: local files, network/server sources (WebDAV, SMB, SFTP, FTP, HTTPS) and cloud storage.
- Don scans the sources for audio and video files; common formats are supported (MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, MP3, FLAC, and more).
- Metadata — posters, cast, plot, ratings — is fetched automatically from TMDB based on the file names.
- Everything is shown in a Netflix-style grid; subtitles, multiple audio tracks, 4K and HDR are handled where the device allows.
- Completely free: no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
- Built for the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) and private by design: there is no web app and your videos are never uploaded — files play locally from the device or directly from your source.
